The project involves the construction of a green hydrogen production facility in Huelva, Spain, with a total capacity of 160MW. The facility will span 3.6 hectors the Huelva Industry Park and is expected to produce 20,000 tons of green hydrogen annually from 2028. The plant will utilize Trinasolar Green Hydrogen’s own advanced electrolysis technology.

This project has the potential to be a leading example not only in Spain but throughout Europe, which is aimed at fostering clean and sustainable energy production, aligning with broader goals for a decarbonized economy. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life for everyone in Huelva by clean, affordable, and sustainable green energy, to create local jobs, and to generate tax revenue for the city.

The project is now in development phase, Trina Solar will devote every effort necessary to ensure its success.
