About Us

We are pleased to introduce our company, which specialises in green energy in Italy. Our team is made up of highly qualified and passionate professionals dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and leading the shift towards clean and renewable energy sources.

We began our journey in 2019 with limited resources and faced an uncertain horizon ahead of us! Starting as a start-up, we gradually took on challenges. Our projects increased, as did the obstacles, but we did not lose heart: in five years, we have grown to a team of 25 people engaged in the development and management of 200 MW authorized, and we are active in 10 regions.

We discovered that working as a team allowed us to improve and grow not only in number but also as individuals.

We strive every day to develop innovative projects that can reduce environmental impact while creating value for society and future generations. We are aware of the challenges ahead, but we are determined to overcome them thanks to our expertise, creativity, and passion for what we believe in.

Who are we? We are visionaries who approach the environmental and energy challenges of our country with the attitude of game changers. We look to tomorrow with the hope of realizing our dreams because this is our Mission. We are ready to work together to make our future brighter.

Our Origination

Are you a landowner? Partner with us and lease your land for renewable energy projects.

Do you have unused land that you would like to rent or sell? Would you like to repurpose a piece of land that is currently idle? At Trina ISBU, we are actively seeking agricultural and industrial land for the installation of renewable energy systems.  Leasing your land for a renewable energy project provides you with a stable and secure income stream over time. Additionally, it allows you to play a significant role in the energy transition and the reduction of CO2 emissions locally and globally.  We are looking for industrial or agricultural land that can be developed for renewable energy production.   Contact us today for a personalised evaluation and to learn more about how you can benefit from partnering with Trina ISBU.

 Get a Secure, Long-Term Income

We can help you get the most out of your land with a competitive market rate. You’ll receive an annual payment, which depends on factors like soil quality, exposure, and other technical aspects. The agreement can last between 30 and 40 years. If you’d rather get your money upfront, we can arrange an advance payment of the annual rent or discuss a purchase agreement.

Make the Most of Your Land

Our photovoltaic systems typically use around 40-45% of the leased land, leaving plenty of room for dual land use. On the same land, you can generate energy while continuing agricultural activities like sheep grazing, beekeeping, or planting perennial herbs. We’re happy to design the solar system to match your priorities and agricultural practices, ensuring seamless dual land use. Contact us today for more information on agrivoltaics.

The way we work

Information Request

Do you have land and would like to rent or sell it to build a photovoltaic plant? Fill out the contact form, call us, or send an email. We will respond to your inquiries and questions.

01

Constraint Analysis

We will conduct a constraint and feasibility analysis to verify the suitability of the land.

02

Economic Proposal

Following a positive outcome of the analysis, we will first send the economic offer with a letter of intent, and after three months, with a private agreement.

03

Connection Request

With the letter of intent, a connection request to the grid operator (usually e-distribution or Terna)

04

Connection Evaluation

It takes 3 – 4 months from the connection request to be able to receive the connection (STMG) quote, which will be evaluated internally.

05

Preliminary Contract

The preliminary contract in notarized format is usually signed 6 months after the private agreement, so that the development of the PV system can begin

06

Authorisation Process

We will take care of obtaining all the necessary permits by submitting the required applications to the competent offices.

07

Plant Disposal

To ensure the restoration of the site to its original state before operations, our company is legally required to provide a bank guarantee to the Public Administration for the dismantling of the plant and the removal of all its components.

FAQS

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) cells.

Yes, solar panels can still generate electricity during cloudy or rainy days, though at reduced efficiency. They rely on direct and diffuse sunlight, so they can produce energy even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Most solar panels have a lifespan of 25 to 30 years. Their efficiency may decrease slightly over time, but they typically remain effective for many years.

Wind turbines produce energy by harnessing the kinetic energy associated with the wind to convert this source into mechanical energy and, in turn, into electrical energy.

Key factors include wind speed and consistency, local regulations and zoning, turbine size and type, and potential impacts on wildlife and the environment. Site assessment and expert consultation are essential.

Wind turbines do produce noise, which mainly comes from the rotating blades and mechanical components. However, modern turbines are designed to minimize noise, and the sound is usually comparable to that of a refrigerator or air conditioning unit from a distance.

Battery storage systems store electrical energy for later use. They charge during periods of excess electricity generation (e.g., sunny or windy days) and discharge when demand is high or renewable generation is low, helping to balance the energy supply.

Common types of batteries used in energy storage include lithium-ion, lead-acid, and flow batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are the most popular due to their high energy density, long life, and efficiency.
